Emergency planning

South Kesteven District Council has a responsibility to plan and prepare for possible emergencies within the district.

The council offers advice and information to local residents on flooding issues and dealing with extreme hot or cold weather. It also advises businesses on how to prepare for emergencies.

Emergency Plan

South Kesteven's Emergency Plan outlines the specific actions the district will take in response to emergencies, as well as suggested responses to the top risks identified in Lincolnshire's Community Risk Register.

South Kesteven District Council is a member of the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum, providing an integrated response to emergency planning and to emergency response.

The Lincolnshire Resilience Forum website offers information and advice to residents, visitors and businesses on Lincolnshire's preparation and response to major incidents and emergencies.
