Work base: Grantham
Salary: SK7 (£9.38 per hour plus rolled up holiday pay of £1.13 per hour)
Hours: Please note this is a casual contract and some weeks there will be no hours available.
Working hours will be up to 37 per week and may include, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Hours will be agreed with management in advance and will be subject to your right not to work more than 48 hours per week unless by agreement.

Job context and purpose
This role is a casual position and therefore has no guaranteed hours per month.
The role is to provide cover for absence and annual leave throughout the year to ensure there is no disruption to the 24/7 coverage of CCTV in the South Kesteven District.
CCTV operators provide accurate and effective public CCTV monitoring. Co-operating with the emergency services and other agencies to reduce crime, the fear of crime and to maintain public safety.
South Kesteven District Council CCTV operators work to a strict Code of Practice and Radio Protocol. In order to carry out this role the employee must hold a SIA CCTV license. The employee must satisfy both the Council's and Police's vetting procedures. Casual employees do not receive entitlement to occupational sick pay or annual leave. Holiday pay is rolled up in to an enhanced casual rate of pay.
