Stamford Skate Park Closed
For the safety of users
Following serious health and safety concerns, which were highlighted in a report received Thursday 1st May, South Kesteven District Council have taken the decision to close Stamford Skate Park at Recreation Road and remove the equipment.
An SKDC approved contractor was on site Friday morning to remove the equipment, make good any holes and to leave the site in a safe condition. Any equipment that can be economically repaired will be stored for the time being.
We will continue to work in partnership with local groups and residents in relation to the site.
On Friday 18 April, SKDC’s chief executive Duncan Kerr started his bike ride
