Open data, data sets and the transparency code

Open data is about increased transparency, about sharing the information we hold with the wider community. The data we provide will be in an open, machine readable format that can be easily viewed by you or used for other analysis.

Anyone can use our data and you can freely download the information.

This data can be used in a wide variety of applications and we licence use in accordance with the same terms and conditions as specified by data.gov.uk under the Open Government Licence.

With this licence you are free to:

  •  copy, publish, distribute and transmit the Information

  •  adapt the information

  • exploit the information commercially for example, by combining it with other Information, or by including it in your own product or application

You must, where you do any of the above:
