How to make a claim
If you feel you have suffered a loss through negligence on the part of the council then please write to us. In order for a claim to succeed there has to be proven legal liability and negligence.
Audit Commission Act 1998
We are required under Section 6 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 to participate in the Public Sector Audit Appointments data matching exercise. The data held by South Kesteven District Council will be used for cross-system and cross authority comparison for the prevention and detection of fraud.
Data Protection Act 1998
The information you provide to South Kesteven District Council will be used to enable the council to process your claim. We may share your information with our legal representatives, contractors or outside bodies who may be involved with the defence of the claim.
