Craft Market

Discover over 35 unique stalls, offering handmade gifts, seasonal treats, and beautiful crafts—perfect for finding that one-of-a-kind Christmas present!

 

Community Pop-Up Choir

Back by popular demand! After last year’s amazing response and feedback, our Pop-Up Choir returns in collaboration with Elaine Bishop. Join in the fun and learn a festive song with harmonies before performing live on stage - no experience needed! Bring your holiday spirit and be part of this show-stopping festive moment. Details on how to register coming soon!

 

Food & Drink Stalls

Enjoy a taste of the season with a variety of delicious bites and festive treats from local food and drink stalls.

Plus, this year’s headline act is the incredible Hattie Johnson, a talented singer, director, and producer from Grantham, bringing unforgettable experiences to audiences across the UK!

Hattie is celebrated for her captivating performances and dynamic stage presence. She has delighted audiences at the Guildhall Arts Centre pantomime and impressed with her own theatre productions across Lincolnshire. Her latest show, Revisiting Amy, has received widespread acclaim.

With a rich musical background spanning soul, jazz, Motown, and blues, Hattie promises an unforgettable experience at this year’s event. She will be performing live on stage from 4 pm, so come along and join the crowd—you won’t want to miss it!

 

Fun Fair

Wide Westgate will be transformed into a traditional fun fair with rides and carnival favourites for all the family.

 

Magical Movie Trail

The festive town trail fun continues this year with a special twist! Shops and businesses across Grantham are invited to take part in the Christmas Film Trail.

Families will explore the town on a fun-filled trail, guessing Christmas films inspired by creative window displays. Those who complete the trail and crack all the clues will be rewarded with a sweet treat at the end.

How to take part:

  1. Email the Christmas Fayre team at christmasmarket@southkesteven.gov.uk with:
    • Your shop name
    • Your chosen movie (each film can only be used once!)
  2. Create a festive window display inspired by your chosen Christmas film.
  3. Ensure your display is ready and visible by 10am on Sunday 30th November.

We’ve packed the day with festive fun for all the family, including:

  • Santa’s Grotto with a free photos
  • Snow Globe – step inside for a magical photo moment!
  • Winter Princesses with performances, photo opportunities, and crown-making workshops
  • Christmas Crafts with Hannah Peacock
  • Level-Up Gaming Bus and 360 Disco Booth
  • Festive Face Painting
  • Wood Craft Activity with Simon Kieffer from Outwood CIC
  • Vintage Fair Rides and Fire Engines

 

Road Closures

To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, the following roads will be closed from 5am to 9pm on Sunday 30th November:

  • Market Place
  • Conduit Lane (part of - junction of Greyfriars)
  • Narrow Westgate
  • Wide Westgate
  • Guildhall Street (part of - junction of Greenwood’s Row)
  • Welby Street

Parking bays and taxi ranks in these areas will also be closed; however, taxi ranks on St Peter’s Hill and Wharf Road will remain open.
