We welcome school students, college/university students and job seekers from all sections of the community.
We are keen to support schools in the local area with their work experience schemes, offering a variety of placements across council services.
Where possible, we place students in an area in which they have expressed an interest; some of the most popular are the arts centre, accountancy and planning.
We hope that the students will gain an insight into the world of work and that it may help them to decide on their choice of career. We see it as a very positive experience for the council as well as for the student.
