Design PAD To help ensure that South Kesteven’s aspirations for high quality design are fulfilled, the Council has established a Design Review Panel which brings together experts to provide advice and guidance for developers to help shape development. Design Guide SPD The Design Guidelines for Rutland and South Kesteven aim to help improve the design quality of new build development. They supplement the policies within the Local Plan (2020). This Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted in November 2021. Design Code South Kesteven intend to produce a Design Code for the District. The Code is in the early stages of production and will go through various stages of public and stakeholder engagement. Design consultancy services South Kesteven have a Principal Design Officer who also provides design consultancy services for other Local Planning Authorities.
