Performers will gather at Wyndham Park in Grantham this weekend for the first Busking in the Park event.
Sets will be performed around the park between 11am and 4pm, giving visitors the chance to explore.
So why not bring a picnic and enjoy the variety on offer?
Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Paul Stokes, who is also Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, said: “We’re very much looking forward to this event which we hope will grow to become a regular part of the town’s cultural calendar.
“It’s all about live music and entertainment that’s come from the community in a street entertainer style.
"The event is free to attend, so visitors could perhaps visit Grantham Market first, then walk across to make a day of it in our town.”
The event came about following public demand and requests in SKDC’s annual parks survey.
Wyndham Park Café will be open as well as other features, such as the family Splash Pool. Limited parking is available on-site, although the park is just a short walk from Grantham town centre.
Wyndham Park has been awarded Green Flag status for the 14th consecutive year. Keep Britain Tidy also awarded Wyndham Park Green Heritage Site Accreditation, supported by Historic England, for the management and promotion of its historic features.
There are also tennis courts, an urban gym, picnic tables, a safe off-lead dog exercise area and grassland set aside for a peaceful orchard setting.
