Businesses in South Kesteven with big plans to grow, innovate, or protect local jobs are being urged to apply for a new South Kesteven Business Growth Grant – offering up to £15,000 to turn bold ideas into reality.
Funded by the Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the grant will help local firms invest in innovation, modernise operations, upskill staff, and create or safeguard jobs – giving South Kesteven’s economy a powerful boost.
The grant is open to any sector.
Eligible projects must deliver one or more of the following outcomes:
- Create or safeguard jobs at risk
- Train or upskill staff to gain new qualifications, or enhanced skills
- Innovate to create new or improved products or services to meet demand or reach new markets
Grants range from £2,500 to £15,000, with a 50 per cent matched funding requirement.

SKDC Assistant Director for Planning and Growth, Emma Whittaker, said: “Businesses have seen significant challenges in the past year, with the rise of NI payments and the minimum wage, as well as the introduction of a new Employment Rights Bill.
“It has never been more important to help our local businesses get the boost they need and the South Kesteven Business Growth Grant will do just that.
“This grant, funded by the Government through the UK Shared Prosperity fund, will support businesses to create and safeguard jobs, and to innovate and develop new products and services.”
Application deadline: Now until September 30th; applications reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. If funding remains after this period, a new application window will be opened, and businesses will be invited to apply.
The scheme is open only to businesses registered and based in South Kesteven.
