Food safety training courses 2016

Level 2 food safety training is now available, working in partnership with South Holland District Council.

Level 2 Award in Food Safety

By law, all food handlers must receive adequate supervision, instruction and/or training in food hygiene for the work that they do.

Following the course you will have a better understanding of:

  • Food poisoning and prevention: Where it comes from and how it gets into our food
  • Food safety management systems
  • The law: A brief summary of food law and how it affects you

Please note that to be able to complete this course, it is necessary to have a good understanding of the spoken English language, however exam papers are available in other languages if pre-booked.

Book and pay online

The cost of the course is £55 per candidate. This includes course literature, examination fee and certificate upon successful completion of the course and exam. To book your place, download and complete the 'Level 2 booking form' below and make your payment following the links.

Once we have received a full payment and booking form, a place(s) will be reserved for you. At this point you will be sent a letter of confirmation.

You can now make your payment by clicking on the button below. This will take you through to the South Holland District Council payments area.

Pay online

Once there, choose 'Other Payments', then 'Food Safety',then 'Courses Level 2'. You will then be asked for your card details.

Please Note: You will need to complete a form and payment for each entrant.

Once we have received your payment, we will then send you a letter of confirmation.

Refunds: The fee is non-refundable. However, if for any reason you are unable to attend the course you book on to, we will be able to offer you an alternative date instead.
