Service review groups

We have two groups that work closely with managers looking in detail at specific service areas such as repairs or estate management; monitoring performance and recommending improvements. Meetings take place monthly and last two hours.

Neighbourhood Community and Tenancy Service Review Group (NC&T SRG)

Looks at:

  • neighbourhood management - how we manage our neighbourhoods, keeping them clean and safe, including communal areas and open spaces
  • local area cooperation - how we work in partnership with agencies and other bodies such as the police, local housing associations, residents and others to address neighbourhood issues
  • anti-social behaviour - how we manage our tenancies and tenants in terms of their behaviour both in and outside of their home
  • allocations and mutual exchanges - how we allocate our properties and manage them to ensure those in need receive the housing suited to their needs
  • tenure - covering the types of tenancies and options we provide to tenants to occupy our properties, and the management of these tenancies

The group meets monthly.

Home and Tenant Involvement & Empowerment Service Review Group (HTIE SRG)

Looks at:

  • repairs and maintenance - covering how we organise, arrange and carry out day-to-day repairs and planned repairs work such as gas servicing and external painting
  • quality of accommodation - covering long term planned improvement works to our properties such as the Decent Homes Standard, heating systems replacement, structural works such as roof replacements and adaptations
  • customer service, choice and complaints - covering how we communicate with our tenants and encourage them to make complaints and compliments through customer feedback on their experiences
  • involvement and empowerment - covers how we ensure our tenants can monitor, challenge and help shape the decisions we make as a landlord
  • understanding and responding to the diverse needs of our tenants - covering how we ensure all our policies and procedures do not put any tenant at a disadvantage due their diversity

The group meets monthly.
