Adopted Site Allocation and Policies (SAP) Development Plan Document (DPD)
The Site Allocation and Policies DPD [SAP] forms part of the Local Development Plan. It allocates land for specific types of development and includes policies to guide the way these sites are developed. It also includes policies to guide development which expand on those included in the Core Strategy.
The SAP covers all of South Kesteven District except for the town of Grantham.
The Site Allocation and Policies DPD [SAP] was adopted by the council on 17 April 2014, and now forms part of the Local Development Plan for the district.

The adoption of the SAP DPD followed examination by an independent Planning Inspector who concluded that the SAP DPD was sound, subject to a number of modifications, and provided an appropriate basis for the planning of the district up to 2026.
