Warm Front Eligibility Scheme (from 12th September 2012)
To qualify for Warm Front survey a person must live in their own home or rent privately and must meet Warm Front's eligibility criteria:
You must be in receipt of one of the following:
Pension Credit
Child Tax Credits and has a relevant income of £15860 or less
Working Tax Credits and has a relevant income of £15860 or less, and:
- Has parental responsibility for a qualifying child*, or
- Is in receipt of a disabled worker element or severe disability element, or
- Is aged 60 years or over
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and:
- Has parental responsibility for qualifying child*, or
- Is receiving a work-related activity or support component , or
- Is in receipt of a qualifying component
Income Support or Income-based Job seeker's Allowance and have any of the following:
- Has parental responsibility for a qualifying child*, or
- Is in receipt of a qualifying component
Your property must also have a SAP rating of no more than 63.
*(A qualifying child means, in relation to the person in receipt of an allowance, income support or working tax credit, a child who ordinarily resides with that person and who is under the age of 16, or is over 16 but under 20 and in full time education other than higher education within the meaning of section 579(1) of the Education Act 1996)
