Current Vacancies
Ingoldsby Parish Council - An election has been called to fill the vacancy on Ingoldsby Parish Council following the resignation of Councillor O'Rorke.
One nomination was received by the deadline for nominations, and therefore the vacancy has been filled by an uncontested election.

By-elections to fill District, Town or Parish Council vacancies will be held if, within 14 days from the date of the Notice of Vacancy (not counting Saturdays, Sundays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday) , 10 electors for the parish / ward give notice in writing claiming an election to the Returning Officer. The address of the Returning Officer is:
South Kesteven District Council, Council Offices, St. Peter's Hill, Grantham, Lincs NG31 6PZ
If no such notice is given, the Council may fill the vacancy by co-option as soon as practicable.
District Council Elections
The next elections for the 58 district council seats will take place in May 2015. Any vacancies arising before that time will be filled through a by-election.
Parish/Town Council Elections
Elections for the parishes in the district of South Kesteven will take place in May 2015.
If a request is received for an election to be held, the "Notice of Election" will be published on this webpage. The Notice will show the deadlines for receipt of:
- Nomination papers by candidates;
- Written applications to vote by post;
- Written applications to vote by proxy.

Following the expiry of the Notice of Election, a poll will only be held if there are more candidates than seats available, following the deadline for withdrawals.
