What our priorities are and how we are doing
We want to create an environment where vibrant communities want to live, work, visit and invest.
To help us achieve this we have talked to our residents and they have told us what they want us to concentrate on.
This has helped us to take a fresh look at our priorities and re-focus on the things that matter most to local people.
Our vision and values identify how we work and they underpin everything we do. Priorities set out our focus. They are;
The Council has in place a Corporate Plan which is a three year plan from 2008 to 2011 detailing the business of the District Council. This is plan is currently being updated to reflect the new priorities.
The Council has now adopted the four priority themes mentioned above.
