Training for Resident Involvement
Tenants want to be involved in helping monitor and improve our services and we have developed a wide range of opportunities to enable people to get involved.
Sometimes, tenants might feel that they don't have the knowledge or skills to take part, or that they could get involved at a higher level if they did have extra knowledge, skills and confidence.
The Resident Involvement team can offer training in the following areas:
- Making meetings effective
- SKDC as a landlord
- Tenant involvement and consultation
- Equality and Diversity awareness
- Presentation skills
- Fundraising
- Computer skills
- Training for committee members – Chair, Treasurer and Secretary

All training courses are free to tenants and we will pay your expenses when you attend a course.
