The aim of this page is to give you regular updates on what we are doing, or what we are about to do, for our website users.
Our website is constantly being updated. We do not always get it right first time but we hope you can find everything you are looking for quickly and easily. We will keep you up to date on developments, but we would also like you to suggest how we can help you find what you are looking for as quickly as possible.
Tell us what you really think of our site and how you have found using it by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page which will take you to our site survey. These comments will be seen by our team and will turn into discussions which will lead to actions being taken to solve the problems that you have reported to us. We would also like to hear from you even if you have no problems at all and are happy with our site.

These are some of the things we got wrong but have now improved.
You Said About Council Tax... Finding out what council tax band your property is in just got a whole lot easier with the addition of the banding enquiry page. We Did ... You can now search by postcode or by your house name/number. Just type in banding into the search box or go to the council tax area of the website.
You Said About Payments... Making payments to us should be made easier. We Did ... We have added a tab to the top of all of the page. This should make it easier for all of our customers to pay their bills which can be done online through this website. This is a very secure way of making a payment and supported by most internet browsers. You can pay by major credit or debit cards. All you need are your card details and our reference (e.g. Council Tax Account number). Please click to pay now.
You Said About Recycling... What can I recycle in my silver bin? A number of people asked questions in January about plastic bags and cling film and whether or not these can be recycled. We Did ... Sadly we are unable to accept these but we can take most types of plastics just look at our full list of what you can recycle.
You Said About The Local Plan... The link to the local plan was not working. We Did ... This is now up and running and can be found by putting Local Plan into the search box.
You Said About Planning... The planning section of the website was a problem and we had feedback about the Search for an application facility and from people having problems with the mapping system. We Did ... We have sorted out both of these problems and hope that you find this section easier to use.
