The Licensing Act 2003 requires a local authority to consult before publishing a Statement of Licensing Policy which is due to become effective on the January 5 2011

Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles Review
The Council was required by the Gambling Act 2005 to prepare and publish a Statement of Principles, this was done in 2006 and that Statement of Principles is kept under constant review.
