How to apply to transfer to another council property for current South Kesteven District Council tenants

We can only transfer you to another of our properties if:

• It is necessary or desirable on verified medical grounds
• It is necessary for other exceptional circumstances
• It helps us to manage our housing stock

To apply you must complete a Transfer Application Form, which is available from Housing Management Services. Please call 01476 406368 or 01476 406586 for details.

We will assess your application by giving points depending on your housing needs. You are unlikely to be offered a transfer if:

• You are in rent arrears
• Your current home is not in good decorative order

We only have a limited number of homes becoming vacant at any time, so even if you are eligible for a transfer you may have to wait for the right home in the right area.
