Gambling Act 2011 Statement of Principles
The Council was required by the Gambling Act 2005 to prepare and publish a Statement of Principles, this was done in 2006 and that Statement of Principles is kept under constant review.
The Act also requires that the Statement of Principles be formally reviewed every three years, this has now been done and the new Statement of Principles is effective from January 2011..
The consultation period ran from August 27 2010 to November 19 2010
