Agendas, minutes and reports
This section of the site provides you with agendas, reports and minutes of our public committees.
By law, we must produce an accurate record of all decisions taken and recommendations made by us and our Committees and Groups.
You can search for specific reports and decisions or browse the agendas and minutes for each committee.
There may be items where the documents are not available to you as they are exempt from disclosure under the Access to Information legislation.
Please note – Agendas and Reports are NOT agreed documents. They are discussion documents and do not necessarily reflect the final agreed position of the Council. Please consult the minutes for the decisions of the Council. A minute on an Agenda is subject to approval at the next meeting of that Committee as a correct record.
Recording of meetings
The following Committees are recorded:-
- Cabinet
- Council
- Development Control
- Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Committee
- Licensing Committee
Other Committee meetings may also be recorded.
You are entitled to listen to the recording of a public meeting. Any request to listen to a recording must be made in writing to the responsible officer and state:-
- The date and time of the relevant meeting.
- The approximate time/nature of the item(s) of business.
- Whether the person requesting the information is a data subject or his or her authorised agent.
Recordings may be edited to exclude any third party, confidential or exempt information at the absolute discretion of the responsible officer. When meetings are private (not open to the public) or when confidential or exempt items of business are transacted (when the press and public are excluded), access to replay/obtain copies will be restricted in accordance with the Access to Information rules.
The Council may levy a fee for data subject access requests and/or for any costs involved in providing copies or transcripts of any recording. The fee does not apply to requests from elected members of the Council.
