Guidance for Personal Search Agents

Access to the Local Land Charges Register and Planning records will be made available in the corporate area of the customer service centre in Grantham.

Staff are available to offer assistance whilst you are carrying our your Search.

To make an appointment contact 01476 40 60 80 at least 48 hours in advance of when you want to book.

Once the appointment is confirmed, a password allowing access to your prepared search is provided and you will need this to access the prepared search when you arrive for your appointment.

When you are booking your appointment you will be asked to provide details of all the addresses to be searched along with a clear site/location plan.  No work on the search will commence until all this information is provided. If the properties are not easily identifiable, this could delay the results of your search.

If your appointment is no longer required then please contact us on 01476 40 60 80 although if work has already commenced the search will be completed and you will be charged.

These are payable on arrival at the customer services centre. Payment can be made only by cheque, credit or debit card.  We do not process cash.

Access to Information Con 29R Enquiries of the Local Authority

To comply with Government Guidance and the Home Information Pack regulations issued January 2008.  We are committed to providing access to data required to completed the Con 29R form.

The Planning Application Register is maintained and updated by the Development Control service and these records are available for inspection at no cost. Development Control can be contacted on our main number (01476) 40 60 80.

To request information for Unrefined Data for the Con 29, please submit a copy of the CON29R application form to the Local Land Charges office with a clear site/location plan for each address and a cheque for the relevant fee. 

CON29R - the second part called Enquiries of Local Authorities Form deals with issues such as road schemes, the planning history of the property and various notices which affect the property.

CON29O - the third part includes further (optional) enquiries.
