The Environment & Health Section is responsible for issuing the following licences, registrations and permits:

Description

Licences are required if an establishment intends to show pictures or sell sex articles or other things concerned with sexual activity to a "significant degree".

An application must be advertised.

If there are no objections then the licence will be granted subject to conditions as appropriate.

If there are any objections the application will be referred to the licensing committee which meets on a monthly basis.

Lincolnshire Police

The Council consults the Police Authority as part of the consideration of the licence application.

The Fire Service

The Council consults with the Fire Service as part of the consideration of the licence application.

How many sex shops are there in South Kesteven?

There are currently two licensed premises in South Kesteven, one is on London Road, Grantham and the other one is on the A1, South bound, near Stoke Rochford.
