SKDC is proposing to increase its element of Council Tax from April 2022 by £5 for the financial year 2022/23 (per Band D).

This will generate around £250,000 of additional funding.

If approved, this would mean households in Bands A, B or C would see the district council element of their bill increase on average by less than £5.

Those in Band D would see an average increase of £5 in the district council element of their bill.

Those in Bands E, F, G or H would see an average increase of more than £5 but no more than £10 in the district council element of their bill.

To inform the decision the council will make on 3 March 2022, we would like to know if you would support this proposal.
