Want to find out food hygiene standards at local food outlets?
Results of food hygiene inspections can now be viewed online. Food businesses are given a rating ranging from 0 stars (major improvement required) to 5 stars (excellent). The number of stars awarded depends upon hygiene standards at the time of the inspection, including:
- cleanliness
- structural condition
- compliance with regulations
- the inspector's confidence in food systems and management

Each food outlet rated 3 stars or more receives a window sticker and certificate to display at the premises.
