Parliamentary General Election - 12 December 2019

The Parliamentary General election will be held on Thursday 12 December 2019.

At a UK Parliamentary election, the country is divided into electoral areas called constituencies.  Each constituency has its own MP.  In the South Kesteven area, there are three Parliamentary Constituencies:

The Acting Returning Officer of South Kesteven District Council is responsible for the election for the Grantham and Stamford Constituency.  The majority of the South Kesteven area is within this constituency except for the areas identified below.  A list of the polling stations in the Grantham and Stamford constituency is available here.

The Sleaford and North Hykeham Constituency is organised by North Kesteven District Council and further information can be found on their website www.n-kesteven.gov.uk. The parts of the South Kesteven district within this constituency are : Allington, Ancaster, Barkston, Barrowby, Belton & Manthorpe, Carlton Scroop, Caythorpe, Claypole, Dry Doddington, Fenton, Foston, Fulbeck, Great Gonerby, Honington, Hough-on-the-Hill, Hougham, Long Bennington, Marston, Normanton, Sedgebrook, Stubton, Syston and Westborough.

The South Holland and the Deepings Constituency is organised by South Holland District Council and further information can be found on their website www.sholland.gov.uk. The parts of the South Kesteven district within this constituency are: Deeping St James, Market Deeping and West Deeping.
