Thurlby Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

A referendum relating to the adoption of the Thurlby Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday, 7 March 2019.

The question that will be asked at the Referendum is :

"Do you want South Kesteven District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Thurlby to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

The referendum area includes the Parish of Thurlby as identified on the map included in the Information Statement.

Voting at this referendum will take place on Thursday 7 March 2019 from 7am to 10pm at :

Thurlby Methodist Hall, High Street, Thurlby, Bourne, PE10 0ED

If you haven't already registered, you can register to vote online at  The deadline to register for this referendum is Tuesday 19 February.

If you are unable to vote at your polling station on polling day you can choose to apply to vote by post or by proxy (appointing someone else to vote at the polling station for you).

The deadline for applying for a postal vote or to change/cancel an existing postal or proxy appointment is 5pm on Wednesday 20February.

The deadline for applying for a proxy vote is 5pm on Wednesday 27 February.

Postal and proxy vote applications cannot be submitted online and must signed and returned to the Electoral Registration Officer, South Kesteven District Council, Council Offices, St Peter's Hill, Grantham NG31 6PZ.  Application must be received by the deadlines above to be effective for this referendum.  Alternatively, signed scanned copies of the application forms can be submitted by email to
