Under the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013, all local authorities must undertake a review of all polling districts and polling places every five years. The next review must take place between 1 October 2018 and 31 January 2020.
We have started a review of the polling districts and polling places used for elections within the South Kesteven district commenced on 2 October with the publication of the Notice of Review.
The Returning Officer's draft proposals on the future polling districts and polling places are now available. Consultation on these draft proposals will now take place until 26 October 2018. Anyone wishing to submit comments or representations on these draft proposals should do so in writing by 26 October 2018.

The review process
The review started on 2 October and will be completed in November 2018. The Returning Officer has prepared and published proposals for the future polling arrangements. Consultation period will then run from 5 October until 26 October 2018.

What happens next?
A report outlining the final proposals will be considered at the meeting of the Full Council to be held on 22 November 2018. A Notice of Conclusion of the Review will then be published.
The polling arrangements will continue to be kept under review. The next full review of polling districts and polling places will take in five years time. .
