On Friday 18 April, SKDC’s chief executive Duncan Kerr started his bike ride round Europe, which will take him through 15 countries, including France, Italy and many of the Baltic countries. He will cover approximately 10,000 kilometres and is expected back mid to late September 2008. To view his route, click here.
Duncan will be peddling to collect money for the chairman’s charities, which, for 2008/2009, are likely to be:
- Leicester Transplant Fund (based at Leicester hospital and covering most of the southern part of the district)
- Sue Ryder (hospice)
- Lincs Air Ambulance
If you would like to sponsor Duncan on his epic journey, please complete and return the sponsorship form sponsorship form and any money raised to Viv Wyatt at South Kesteven District Council, Council Offices, St. Peter’s Hill, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6PZ. You can ring Viv on 01476 40 60 07 or email her on (v.wyatt@southkesteven.gov.uk)
